Hmmm so this is a 2 week update but for the first week I worked on a big painting for my series "A Ride Through Time" so no seeing it for you! When I finish the series I'll post them all.
I am thinking I'm going to start a whole new journal for art and rambling. I have a lot more friends on my other lj and it seems dumb to have 2 since now my updates are all together and stuff.
Anyway, new crap:
Faery Queen of Deathrock
She is the first in a series of Faery Queens. Most are naturey but since there can be faery queens of anything, that includes styles of music :P

Alright, so I was thinking last night how I should do 2 more paintings for my Beauties in Black series, another in purple and another in blue, because I did 2 in red. And now I think about it, and I just don't want to. I know I'll be really sick of the color schemes and the border. So I'm leaving the series as it is, all finished.
Here they are, all together:
I'm torn between Noble Fritillaria and Lily as my favorites, what are your favorites?
I like those 2 the best also because the first twos bodies are ridiculously small compared to their heads. I don't know how I didn't notice that stuff, but, I didn't.
At the moment I'm working on the last Nevermore Brothel girl and then I will be here with her...whenever.
And then I am free to work on my Industrial Angels. I just keep thinking of other words to stick behing "Miss" that are somehow dangerous type of words. So much for a mini series. I have 2 18x24 serieses too but that's big... |

Did you miss me? Lol I haven't updated in 3 weeks. I've been waayyy busy with Fame, opening night was Friday. This week is a lot easier, only 3 Fame related things, last week the only day I had off was Thursday. Dress rehearsals from 5-after 10 it sucks. Oh yes and sometimes I don't really feel like updating if only one person actually comments. But I loovee you all anyway. So I have some new stuff.

This is my character Lula, the little gothic lolita :) She is made of adorableness and frills. I have big plans for my little loli, when Fame stops and I have more time to paint.

I have been very busy lately. We now have 4 rehearsals a week for Fame and the of course there's school and homework and other stuff. So that obviously means less art. But here is what I have..

She goes with Miss Radium. I decided to make them into a mini series called the Industrial Angels and so far I have Miss Danger in mind and that might be all.

I feel like I just updated this not too long ago, but then when I look at the paintings I have to show you this time, that seems like a long time ago. It's weird.
Listening to things tagged medieval on last.fm. I don't get why all modern gregorian chant music has computerized sounds too. It just sounds all wrong. Anyway....Here's the stuff I came to show you.

I actually finished this 2 nights ago but I was just too lazy to update. I got back from rehearsal early so I decided I would post her. She is numero cuatro in my Beauties in Black series of goth faeries and their flowers. She's rivalling Noble Fritillaria for my favorite, I'm really pleased with how she turned out.

And yes, lilies that color actually exist, as do all the other flowers in the series :)
They are really expensive though, like $12 for 2 bulbs, because they're hybrids. But if they weren't I would so get some!
Started Arachne today. Big 18x24 piece and it will be done hopefully by Sunday. But I'm not doing my usual update til the next week. |

So yeah, I've been busy with school and play rehearsals, hence less art. So now I'm updating every 2 weeks at least until November. You saw 2 of the paintings from these past two weeks, part of the Nevermore Brothel series. If you didn't see them, you can always go back to that last post.
Halloween Masquerade
Lol it's a bit early but stores start putting up Halloween stuff in like August :P This is going to be in an art show and I need to have it in by Oct. 1st. I used a picture advertising Eternal Love clothing as a ref.

So, I didn't update this last week. School's started and I have a lot less time to paint, especially since I've had 3 hour long auditions for Fame and then hopefully tomorrow, I will get in the play, and then I will be very busy until November. But I'm still painting! I'm just going to update this every 2 weeks instead until then. But for now, I've started a new series. I've recently fallen in love with Katzenjammer Kabarett and their song "Nevermore Brothel" inspired a series. I still have to paint the last 2 in it, which will be blue and purple. But here are the first 2:

Real velvety looking and they are soooo pretty! Lol. But I don't think my mutti would approve of a black garden :P |
